Mr. Greene really needed a good pair of sunglasses. He’s got several inexpensive pairs laying around, but his good pair broke a couple of year ago and we just never replaced them. Until now! The folks at COR Surf sent over a pair of their bamboo sunglasses for us to try out. Super spiffy, eh?
I saw an ad somewhere the other day with wood-framed sunglasses that said “wood is the new black” and I totally agree. And bamboo is a sustainable, eco-friendly material. (Bonus!)
These are not only a great look for an outdoorsy guy like Adam, they are also practical. They’re super lightweight so not only are they comfortable on your face, they are also ideal for backpacking (an endeavor where every ounce counts!), and since they are made of wood they float so they’re handy to wear while canoeing or kayaking.
They’re unisex and one-size-fits-most, with springy hinges that allow for a lot of adjustment. However Adam’s head is just about at the max width for the glasses to fit comfortably. If you have a particularly large or wide head, these may be a little snug, but for most people they should work quite nicely!
