Holy cow, you guys. It’s been a long time. Too long!
I haven’t been livestreaming much lately, so I don’t have any new HYPE broadcasts to share, but I have been active here and there on other platforms so I do still have some new stuff to share with you. (I really need to do a fresh HYPE soon though. I’m many months overdue for that…)
Anyway, I’ve been working on some content for the Darby Smart app, which is a platform just for DIY, food, and beauty videos. You can check out my profile on the website here. (Though, to be honest, the app is WAY better than the website right now. (That will be changing soon, though, as they are in the process of redesigning the website!) So for the best experience, follow @hypercrafty on the Darby app!)
One thing that the video doesn’t show is how I finished the back side of the sign. I decided that I didn’t want to leave the obnoxious pink glitter “Tiki Bar” part showing, so I traced the shape of the sign onto some black fabric and glued it to the back of the finished sign. So it has a nice, fully finished look… And I was still able to take the lazy way out by not sanding!
The finished Halloween sign will be auctioned off at an upcoming family reunion to help pay for expenses like food and renting a hall. I might try to whip up a few more things for the auction before the reunion takes place next weekend too… So hopefully I will have more awesome Halloween craftiness to share very soon!
The skeletons I used for this sign were leftovers from my jailbird skeleton Halloween decoration a few years ago.
