I’ve been craving lamb lately. It’s not something that I would want to eat as an every day meal, but every once in a while I get a hankering for it. The other day, inspired by a yummy pasta dish that we received as Love with Food Gluten Free Ambassadors, I grabbed some beautiful lamb loin chops and built a fabulous meal!
I rubbed the chops with Moroccan seasoning from Spice Merchants. If you ever see a Spice Merchants store, you abso-freaking-loutely need to go in! (Or you can order online. But you can’t small the glorious aromas on the website!) I let the rubbed chops sit covered in the fridge for a while, then seared them in a little olive oil.

While we were at the store we decided on green beans as our other side. I mentioned that some sliced almonds would be a nice addition to the beans, and Mr. Greene noted that there was a blend of honey roasted sliced almonds and dried cranberries that sounded good. That was a GREAT idea! After I cooked the beans, I mixed in the almonds and cranberries along with some melted butter.
It was an awesome combination of things – definitely one of the best meals I have eaten in a long time!
