I recently received a very, very exciting package in the mail: a box of DecoArt’s Americana Chalky Finish paint! I’ve been itching to try it out so this was a huge YAY moment! They sent it because they are the sponsor for this month’s Crafty Hangouts, where it’s wedding week. Another YAY for wedding crafts! I have a whole collection of thrift store finds at home and I knew immediately what I wanted to do. What started out as two thrift store pieces turned into a gorgeous shabby chic burlap-and-lace bulletin board, complete with matching push pins!

There are a ton of ways you can use a bulletin board at a wedding. Anywhere you need a sign or you want to display photos, a pretty bulletin board is a quick and easy solution. For an explanation of how I made it – and a cameo by an adorable kitty – watch the video below!
